Performance Pistol + Low Light 2 day course - April 17-18, 2025 @ Corona PD ***LE ONLY***

Performance Pistol + Low Light pistol @ Corona PD. This course is designed for the law enforcement officer to help refine their grip, sights (vision) & trigger control. Day one will be covering trigger control at speed, sight confirmation levels (vision) and grip. We will also be working on our movement, target transitions and shooting at increased distances.

Day two will be learning and practicing all relevant low light pistol techniques. Students will be working on strong hand only shooting, handheld flashlight techniques, weapon mounted light techniques, handheld to WML transitions, decision making drills and multiple target engagements. There will also be light demos with the top handheld and weapon mounted lights on the market. At the end of this course, students will have a solid understanding on white light application and how to mitigate their risk and reduce their liability.

This course is taught by California POST certified pistol instructors Erik T., John G. and John E. All three instructors are also graduates of the Sig Sauer Academy low light instructor school. 

A detailed email will be sent out approximately one week before the course. The email will include all logistical details and important info regarding the course. Both days will run from 0700 to approximately 1700 hours. 

Course requirements:

- Duty pistol with weapon mounted light & duty belt

- At least three magazines

- Handheld flashlight (If you have multiple, please bring them)

- Spare batteries for WML and handheld lights

- 1000 rounds of practice ammo 

- Eye and ear protection

- Note taking material (if desired)
