Whether you're fresh out of the academy or a seasoned SWAT operator, the standard remains the same—speed and accuracy with your duty weapons can be the difference in a critical incident. This course is designed specifically for law enforcement officers to elevate performance with their duty pistol using principles rooted in practical/performance shooting concepts.

The training emphasizes performance shooting skills that translate directly to real-life engagements. Expect a fast-paced, challenging course that pushes your limits and refines your skills.

In this course, will be building a solid foundation based on principles of performance shooting with our pistols. We will be solidifying our grip, sight management and trigger control. Additionally, we will also be covering shooting while incorporating movement. 

This course also will serve as an introduction to competitive shooting. We will cover the general rules of competition (USPSA&IDPA), divisions & how to get started at your first match. There were be anywhere from 3-5 mini stages that will be scored with hit factor (HF) to help you understand and see the benefits of shooting competitively. At the end of the course, the top 3 shooters based on their hit factor will win prizes.

Equipment needed:

• Handgun (full size or compact. NO micro pistols)
• A range/duty style belt with holster for your specific handgun & magazine pouches. 
• At least 3 magazines (5 preferred)
• Eye/ear protection
• 650 Rounds of ammunition
• Sun screen
• Water/snacks
• Note taking material (if desired)
