Performance Pistol 1 - 4/6/26 @ Prado Range ***OPEN ENROLLMENT***

This is NOT a beginner level course. Students are expected to know how to safely handle their firearms at all times and already possess fundamental pistol skills. This should NOT be your first pistol course. 

The training emphasizes performance shooting skills that translate directly to real life engagements. Expect a fast-paced, challenging course that pushes your limits and refines your skills.

In this course, will be building a solid foundation based on principles of performance shooting with our pistols. We will be solidifying our grip, sight management and trigger control. Additionally, we will also be covering shooting while incorporating movement. 

This course also will serve as brief introduction to competitive shooting. We will cover the general rules of competition, divisions & how to get started at your first match. There will be mini stages that will be scored with hit factor (HF) to help you understand and see the benefits of shooting competitively. 

Equipment needed:

• Handgun (full size or compact. NO micro pistols)
• A range/duty style belt with holster for your specific handgun & magazine pouches. (Concealment ok if you are experienced with drawing from concealment)
• At least 3 magazines (5 preferred)
• Eye/ear protection
• 650 Rounds of ammunition
• Sun screen
• Water/snacks
• Note taking material (if desired)

***Cancellations*** Cancellations will be given a full refund if the cancellation is made more than 30 days from the scheduled class date. Classes CANNOT be cancelled within 48 hours of the course date - no credits or refunds will be issued. NO EXCEPTIONS. EPC reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time.
