Low Light Risk Mitigation (Rifle) @ Corona PD 3/17/25 ***LE ONLY***

A patrol rifle should always have a light with the capability to push light at rifle engagement distances. In this course we will be discussing all relevant low light principles and techniques related to utilizing patrol rifles. At the end of this course, students will be able to choose a proper light/lighting technique for various environments and situations to mitigate their risk and reduce liability. 

A detailed email will be sent out approximately one week before the course. The email will include all logistical details and important info regarding the course.

Course requirements:

• Patrol rifle with optic, sling and weapon mounted light (WML)
• -Duty pistol with weapon mounted light & duty belt
• -At least three magazines for both pistol and rifle (more the better)
• -Handheld flashlight (If you have multiple, please bring them)
• -Spare batteries for WML and handheld lights
• - 500 rounds of practice ammo for rifle // 150 for pistol
• -Eye and ear protection
• -Note taking material (if desired)

***Cancellations*** Cancellations will be given a full refund if the cancellation is made more than 30 days from the scheduled class date. If the course is cancelled within 30 days, a class credit will be issued that is good for one year. Classes CANNOT be cancelled within 48 hours of the course date - no credits or refunds will be issued. Exceptions to these policies may be made on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Elevated Performance Concepts, LLC (EPC) and must be put in writing. EPC reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time.
