EPC x Gateway Defense - Dynamic Pistol Applications November 6-7, 2025 @ Corona PD ***LE only***

Special joint performance pistol course with Erik from Elevated Performance Concepts and Brennan from Gateway Defense. 

This special two-day joint course with Brennan from Gateway Defense and Erik from EPC is designed for the law enforcement officer who is ready to elevate their performance to the next level. Whether your goal is to refine the fundamentals to become faster and more accurate, or to prepare yourself for stepping into the world of competition, this course is for you.

Day one focuses on establishing a solid foundation in the principles of performance shooting. Students will dive into grip mechanics, sight management and confirmation levels, trigger control at speed, and target transitions. 

On day two, the emphasis shifts to applied performance with a heavy focus on movement and blending targets. Students will learn efficient entries and exits, how to blend multiple positions & targets, and engage targets while on the move. The second day challenges students to manage speed, accuracy while incorporating movement.

Equipment needed:

• Duty gun with duty belt and magazine pouches
• At least 5 magazines
• Eye/ear protection
• 1,000 Rounds of ammunition
• Water/snacks
• Note taking material (if desired)

A detailed email will be sent out approximately one week prior to the course date. The email will include all of the logistical details and important information regarding the course. 

About Brennan Brennecke/Gateway Defense:

Brennan’s unique perspective of training has been based around a balance of both defensive and competitive shooting. He has had the distinct privilege of being able to train under a wide variety of instructors across the industry, ranging from multiple IPSC World Champions, SWAT Operators, Special Operations snipers, USPSA Grandmasters, and many others. His training has spanned topics including competition shooting, concealed carry, CQB, night vision, long-range precision rifle, scoped carbine, low light, weapons-based grappling, and more. 

 He formerly taught as an instructor for Spectrain, a training company located in North Carolina. From there he moved on to work as the Lead Pistol Instructor for two years at Vortex Edge, the training division of Vortex Optics. 

 Brennan is now the owner and Lead Instructor of Gateway Defense Training LLC where he travels the country teaching pistol and rifle classes with a heavy emphasis on performance shooting. He is passionate about helping people learn to increase their performance by exploring the key principles of shooting, learning to track their progress using quantifiable metrics, and developing a structured path for self-improvement. When he's not teaching, he is busy producing educational content for the Gateway Defense YouTube channel, revolving around the topic of performance shooting.

Cancellations made within 30 days of the course will receive class credit they can use towards future EPC classes. Classes CANNOT be cancelled within 48 hours of the course date - no credits or refunds will be issued.
