1911/2011 Performance - October 21, 2024 @ Prado Range (Chino, CA) **open enrollment**

This course is designed to provide students with a strong understanding of the 1911/2011 pistol. The 1911/2011 pistol differs from other pistols and requires the user to be familiar with its intricacies for the greatest likelihood of success. Students will gain the necessary skills to effectively handle and run the 1911/2011 style pistol in a duty or carry format. In addition to performance shooting fundamentals with the 1911/2011, the course will also cover the necessary maintenance and care required in order to keep a duty or carry 1911/2011 operating at its peak efficiency. The performance shooting fundamentals covered in this course will be grip, trigger control, recoil management, the draw and reloads. 

The course is taught by three full time law enforcement officers who have been carrying a 2011 handgun primarily for years and are 2011 certified armorers. 

Pre-requisite: Basic/fundamental firearms training from a reputable firearms instructor school. Please email me to confirm eligibility. If you display any unsafe behavior during the course, you will be asked to leave the course immediately. 

Equipment needed:

• 1911/2011 style pistol
• Duty/OWB holster & mag pouches on a "duty" type belt
  
• For the 2011 - At least 4 magazines. For the 1911 - At least 6 magazines.
• Eye/ear protection
  
• 500 Rounds of ammunition
• Eye/ear protection
• Sun screen
• Water/snacks
• Note taking material (if desired)

***Cancellations*** Cancellations will be given a full refund if the cancellation is made more than 30 days from the scheduled class date. Classes CANNOT be cancelled within 48 hours of the course date - no credits or refunds will be issued. Exceptions to these policies may be made on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Elevated Performance Concepts, LLC (EPC) and must be put in writing. EPC reserves the right to change or amend these policies at any time.
